He Never Promise

I was sitting down at the back of the bus as usual listening to songs that just make me grow even thirstier for Him. How I long then I could reach home right away and just come to His presence! One minute is really worth while!

Then, the words of God dawned upon me like there is no other thing. He suddenly told me one special thing that really touched my heart.

"I never promise you that you will not have any ups and downs when you walk with me.
Neither do I tell you that when you have Me you won't suffer anymore.
I never once tell you that when you walk with Me, it will always be a smooth sailing journey.
I never once say that when you do my way there are no obstructions.
But my son and my daughter, I promise that I will be there with you and for you. Through all these backsliding you face. All the rocks that people throw at you and the future. I promise I walk with you and you will not be alone. I wont promise you will suffer but I promise that I will never leave you. You can always count on me and hold my hand."

I feel so much even now with these words He said.

I don't know what my future will take me to. What kind of person I will be next time or in five years time. What people think of me now or even later or even last time. I dont know what kind of suffering i must endure.. but i know He will walk by me and thats enough.

It's enough to make me feel safe. After all, He has really really proven me. That He walks with me all the time. He wont let go of my hand and neither will I want to let go of His hand.

Suddenly, it became so clear to me.

A minute, 5 minutes or even an hour with Him alone is so much precious that I dont want to waste. A day with Him is so good that I want it all the time.

Take hold of what He promise! He is a God with power of love. He is sad too when He see things doesn't do His way.

Smoking Kid

Sebuah video iklan anti-rokok di Thailand menerima banyak pujian setelah diunggah ke situs Youtube. Dalam video itu diperlihatkan dua anak kecil berpura-pura meminjam korek buat menyalakan rokok tapi ditolak mentah-mentah oleh para perokok dewasa.

Sejak diunggah pada 21 Juni lalu oleh pemilik aukun EyadAlasibi, Tercatat 18 ribu orang lebih menyukai isi tayangan itu.

Tayangan video berjudul Smoking Kid dibuat oleh Yayasan Promosi Kesehatan Thailand. Di awal terlihat beberapa perokok dewasa sedang asyik merokok. Mereka tidak sadar sedang diambil gambar lantaran dilakukan dengan kamera tersembunyi.

Tiba-tiba saat sedang asyik mengepulkan asap kenikmatan, masing-masing perokok di tempat berbeda itu didatangi bocah, satu laki-laki dan perempuan. Perokok dewasa, laki-laki dan perempuan, terkejut saat sang bocah hendak meminjam korek sembari mengeluarkan sebatang rokok.

Lucunya para perokok dewasa itu tidak mau meminjamkan korek kepada para bocah itu. Bahkan dalam salah satu adegan, seorang perokok wanita mengatakan hal itu tidak baik buat kesehatan dan menyuruh anak itu berhenti merokok. Ada salah satu perokok pria sempat menceramahi bocah itu jika kegiatan merokok itu dapat menyebabkan kanker, emfisema, stroke, dan lainnya.

Saat asyik menceramahi, tiba-tiba para bocah itu balik bertanya, "Jadi kenapa Anda merokok?" Langsung saja para perokok dewasa itu tidak berkutik menghadapi pertanyaan itu. Sejurus kemudian, anak laki-laki dan perempuan itu menyodorkan sebuah kertas berisi kalimat berbunyi, 'Anda peduli dengan saya. Lalu kenapa Anda tidak peduli dengan diri Anda? Ingatkan diri Anda adalah langkah paling efektif buat berhenti merokok.'

Setelah kedua bocah itu meninggalkan masing-masing perokok, mereka pun terdiam. Ekspresi wajah mereka berbeda-beda. Ada yang kaget, terdiam, menggaruk kepala, dan langsung memasukkan kertas itu langsung ke saku celana.

People on Front Line Need Our Prayer

SINGAPORE: Five members of City Harvest Church (CHC), including its founder Pastor Kong Hee, have been arrested for alleged criminal breach of trust and falsification of accounts of the church.

The other four members are John Tan Yee Peng, Lam Leng Ham, Chew Eng Ham and Sharon Tan.

The five were questioned by the Commercial Affairs Department (CAD) on Tuesday.

Kong Hee was seen leaving the Police Cantonment Complex at 4pm.

The five will be charged in court on Wednesday.

CAD said it commenced an investigation on 31 May 2010 into certain financial transactions of CHC after receiving information of misuse of church funds.

The Commissioner of Charities (COC) began its inquiry into the charity on the same day under the Charities Act over alleged misconduct and mismanagement of the building fund which had been raised and earmarked for specific purposes.

The COC said financial irregularities of at least S$23 million from the charity's funds had been discovered. These funds were used with the purported intention to finance the music career of Ho Yeow Sun, who is Pastor Kong's wife and co-founder of the church.

The COC found that there was a concerted effort to conceal this movement of funds from the charity's stakeholders, saying it is concerned about the misconduct and mismanagement in the administration of the charity.

With the consent of the Attorney General, the COC has suspended eight persons, including the five arrested on Tuesday, from the exercise of their office or employment as governing board members.

The other three are Ho Yeow Sun, Kelvin Teo Meng How and Tan Su Pheng Jacqueline.

All eight have been suspended from their executive memberships in the charity with immediate effect.

The COC said it will also consider taking further courses of action against these individuals in order to protect the charity. This may include the removal of these persons from their office as trustee, governing board members, officers, agents or employees of the charity.

With the suspension, the eight persons will be prohibited from taking part or being involved in managing or representing the charity on any matters, or attending any of the charity's Annual General Meetings, Extraordinary General Meetings and Board Meetings.

Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs Teo Chee Hean has stressed that the charges filed by CAD are against the five individuals from the City Harvest Church regarding the use of church funds.

He said the charges are not filed against CHC itself and the church is free to continue its church services and activities.

Mr Teo added that CAD carries out investigations when it receives information that a criminal offense may have been committed.

CAD had previously investigated the National Kidney Foundation and Ren Ci.

As the matter is now before the courts, Mr Teo said the law should be allowed to take its course and the public should avoid speculation or making pre-judgements that may unnecessarily stir up emotions.

Why are There People Who'd DIE for JESUS?

That might be YOUR question.
The answer is rather simple actually; because He died for us. (Every one of us, yes, you too).

Does Jesus expect all of us to die in return of His actions? NEVER.
He wants us to LIVE instead. Following Christ isn’t easy; we have each a cross of our own to carry.

Maybe you'd ask again, "why would someone want to suffer for Christ (like following the bible and have a restricted life)? Isn’t there always a choice of happiness? Why would someone choose the hard way? Isn’t that stupid?"

I’d say...NO, that isn’t stupidity. That is what I call OBEDIENCE.

People have proclaimed themselves as Christians yet is only using that status as a mask. Real Christians are those who dare to take on whatever is given to them. The Lord would not give us something we couldn’t handle. Problems shape us into a better us. Do not give up; do not be defeated by problems. Overcome them and you will GROW.

At first I was clueless as well. I didn’t know what "LIVING FOR CHRIST" means. I blurry just tailed what people say and had quite a hard time accepting the facts. I was so BLIND. Anyone remember that book, 'purpose of driven life'? When I read it the first time, I thought it was just too much. How was I supposed to surrender my life to God, Jesus? How come I needed to start living for Him? I didn’t understand.

"If this is the life He gave me, why I am still supposed to let Him use me to do His things. This wouldn’t be my life anymore if that was to happen, isn’t it?" I thought.

Then slowly I opened up. I thought I’d let Him in my life a bit, but not interfering too much either. Then I wasn’t in love with God yet.

Many people have a lot of questions about Christians, I know. Following Christ isn’t easy, but a Christian got to do what a Christian got to do, isn’t it? When you decide upon something, keep your words and initialize something.

Now, this is the extreme case, but if you were to answer one question: would you die for Jesus?

**10 Guidelines From God**

Hi All.....

Here got one nice article that i thought it would be nice to share with you guys

It will take effect IMMEDIATELY but there are changes YOU need to make in YOUR life... These changes need to be COMPLETED in order for Daddy to fulfil HIS promises in granting us Joy, Peace and Happiness in this life...

1. QUIT WORRYING:
Life has dealt you a blow and all you do is sit and worry. Have you forgotten that HE is here to take all your burdens and carry them for you? Or do you just enjoy fretting over every little thing that comes your way?

2. PUT IT ON THE LIST:
Something needs to be done or taken care of. Put it on the list. No, not YOUR list. Put it on MY to-do-list. Let ME be the one to take care of the problem. I can't help you until you turn it over to Me. And although “My to-do-list” is long, I am after all......God. I can take care of anything you put into My hands. In fact, if the truth were ever really known, I take care of a lot of things for you that you never even realize.

3. TRUST ME:
Once you've given your burdens to Me, quit trying to take them back. Trust in Me. Have the faith that I will take care of all your needs, your problems and your trials. I want to help you. All you have to do is ask.

4. LEAVE IT ALONE:
Don't wake up one morning and say, 'Well, I'm feeling much stronger now, I think I can handle it from here.' Why do you think you are feeling stronger now? It's simple. You gave Me your burdens and I'm taking care of them. I also renew your strength and cover you in my peace. Don't you know that if I give you these problems back, you will be right back where you started? Leave them with Me and forget about them. Just let Me do my job.

5. TALK TO ME:
I want you to forget a lot of things. Forget what was making you crazy. Forget the worry and the fretting because you know I'm in control. But there's one thing I pray you never forget. Please, don't forget to talk to Me - OFTEN! I love YOU! I want to hear your voice. I want you to include Me in on the things going on in your life. Prayer is simply you having a conversation with Me. I want to be your dearest friend.

6. HAVE FAITH:
I see a lot of things from up here that you can't see from where you are. Have faith in Me that I know what I'm doing. Trust Me; you wouldn't want the view from My eyes. I will continue to care for you, watch over you, and meet your needs. You only have to trust Me. Although I have a much bigger task than you, it seems as if you have so much trouble just doing your simple part. How hard can trust be?

7. SHARE:
You were taught to share when you were only two years old. When did you forget? That rule still applies. Share with those who are less fortunate than you. Share your joy with those who need encouragement. Share your laughter with those who haven't heard any in such a long time. Share your tears with those who have forgotten how to cry. Share your faith with those who have none.

8. BE PATIENT:
I managed to fix it so in just one lifetime you could have so many diverse experiences. You grow from a child to an adult, have children, change jobs many times, learn many trades, travel to so many places, meet thousands of people, and experience so much. How can you be so impatient then when it takes Me a little longer than you expect to handle something on My to-do-list? Trust in My timing, for My timing is perfect. Just because I created the entire universe in only six days, everyone thinks I should always rush, rush and rush.

9. BE KIND:
Be kind to others, for I love them just as much as I love you. They may not dress like you, or talk like you, or live the same way you do, but I still love you all. Please try to get along, for My sake. I created each of you different in some way. It would be too boring if you were all identical. Please, know I love each of your differences.

10. LOVE YOURSELF:
As much as I love you, how can you not love yourself? You were created by Me for one reason only-- to be loved, and to love in return. I am a God of Love. Love Me. Love your neighbors. But also love yourself. It makes My heart ache when I see you so angry with yourself when things go wrong. You are very precious to me. Don't ever forget......
